The Ways Of Ascent Surah 70 Quranic Exegesis and Lesson: Ascend

Patience
is Acquired!!
Allah is not a spooky mystery God who beams down patience into you! He brings one into environments, opportunities, circumstances, conditions, and catalysts to produce patience that is already inside of you, but must be cultivated!!(See Closing the Gap page 258) Patience is Acquired over time!!

Surah
70 ayat 5 says "Be patient with a goodly patience", and ayat 19 says
"surely man is created impatient".
I asked myself why would Allah create us impatient then command us to be patient with a goodly patience?
In short Armageddon and Ascension, what I mean is the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that the originator was a warrior God who went to war with the darkness. THMLF said it took Eons of time for Allah to produce or manifest himself with intense pain and struggle, adversity, and suffering to bring into existence what he desired or willed. THMLF says that Adversity is the mother of creativity. So Allah creates us in his image and likeness, THMLF says that we all have to follow the same path of the Originator.
So by his Love and Will he endured great suffering which gave rise to Al Saboor, or The Patient!
Since we are all Gods children of the most high God he creates us impatient then commands us to be patient with a goodly patience.
Allah puts the opposing forces within all of us, which by overcoming the opposition gives rise to the Divine Attributes of Allah. TMHEM said that " a champion cannot be recognized as a champion without an opponent". This is the Great battle in the Sky that TMHEM referred to.

As a child; only diminishing as the years past, I’ve had this unspoken anger within me, unspoken primarily because I am still in search of expression. How did we go from a people who toiled day in and day out to build a New World for an enemy, and centuries later have nothing of “REAL VALUE”, no land or country of our own? I know many are taken back by the use of the word enemy, for their sake I will define by my definition: Enemy: he who hunted/hunts, murders (physical and mental), raped your people of their virtue, and religion and continually deprives you of the basic rights of life, Freedom, Justice and Equality.
I was always somewhat embarrassed about, the sit-ins, the protesting, and cries for justice from the same people who created the hellish environment for us. Had I had a more complete knowledge of my Mother’s and Fathers’ prior to slavery, a more in-depth knowledge of what we came through. Most importantly, that prior to being desensitized to our Holocausts; we at least loved ourselves enough to build business and economics for our own to benefit from, no begging involved. Had I known, that after slavery, but prior to laws being put in place to force us back to dependent status, below our slave masters; we were striving diligently to be the catalysts of our own change. Had our efforts not been smothered by the Compromise of 1877 “The Great Betrayal of the Negro” our economic condition as a whole, our solidarity and families would have looked much different today.
How is it that we know nothing of our history, other than what has been learned from Black History Month and Roots, which is absolutely nothing in comparison to the truth, in fact it is a very watered down account. Why do we only give precedence to the historians of the people that striped us of our history and provided questionable information in its place, information that throughout the days have only proved to confine us mentally? When in search of that which is lost, all leads must be followed up on. If our history provides no power, only pain, if our past experiences on a personal level do not offer insight on what we are capable of, what we can aspire to, then I present that there is a defect somewhere, either with the information or in our analysis of the information.
Hugh Thomas recounted in his book “The Slave Trade” “Few Moorish slaves continued to be taken to the New World in the mid sixteenth century, but the Crown did what they could to prevent it, on the grounds that as Muslims they would be intractable.”
Definition of INTRACTABLE1: not easily governed, managed, or directed <intractable problems> 2: not easily manipulated or wrought <intractable metal> 3: not easily relieved or cured <intractable pain>
What caused them to be intractable? Could it have been their through knowledge of self as Allahs’ Vicegerent and Khalifa? Is it possible that one can only become a useful slave when they are deprived or stripped of the knowledge that ones life is governed by? How does this speak to the validity of the missing 64 years of our history 1555 to 1620, spent making a slave?
This leads me to the statement made by The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in “Message to the Blackman; pg 34”
“There is much misunderstanding among us because of our inferior knowledge of self. We have been to schools where they do not teach us the knowledge of self. We have been to the schools of our slave masters children. We have been to their schools and have gone as far as they allowed us to go. That was not far enough for us to learn a knowledge of self. The lack of knowledge of self is one of our main handicaps.”
